Maura had her first and hopefully last major casualty riding her bike. She feel off her bike onto a small rock, we think, which punctured a hole in her elbow. It was so weird because it was deep but hardly bleeding. It did require six stitches :( She was a trooper through the whole thing. I think getting the stitches removed hurt more than getting the stitches put in. It did not heal perfectly well~ Dr. McKinney thought they should have sent her home with an antibiotic because it got a bit infected, grrrr. So now it is kind of a raised, red bump, oh well, it is one of her war stories.
Popsicles even make stitches better!
