Molly and Marshall the Miracle Dog

Molly met the love of her life in her golden years :)  Marshall, the Miracle Dog, came to Chautauqua.  Marshall lived in an abusive home and lost a leg due to the conditions.  He was adopted and is now in a loving home.  His adoptive mom wrote a book which is now being turned into a movie.  The author came to speak and brought Marshall.  Molly and Marshall had instant chemistry ;)  Looking back at pictures from Molly's last Summer makes me feel so good.  I am so glad she was able to spend the time with us at Chautauqua even though getting her up and down the stairs was somewhat challenging.  Thankfully, Ben was big enough to help with that part each day.  And Molly was strong enough during the Summer months.  Putting her down was one of the hardest things our family has gone through together.  She was a very loved part of our family and she is missed.

I need to find out who got the good, close-up shot of Molly and Marshall.

There were lots of kisses and happy tail wagging.

Molly's last snow fall last winter~ nothing much sweeter than watching her run in the snow :)

She loved new soft places to sleep~ Maura's new rug was a favorite when we first brought it home.

Over the last few months, she got to eat whatever she wanted.  I would pick up cheeseburgers from MCD and we would share Chinese with her when she was interested. The golden years are meant for spoiling and enjoying the finer things in life!
