Maura raised over $500 for her first JDRF walk. For the next walk hopefully I'll plan ahead so we have a bigger team to walk but this was a perfect group for her first walk.
It was extra special having Sloane join us for the walk.

In December, Maura got a pump. She was so excited and we were so excited! We've had a few hiccups with the pump but all in all it has been great. No more shots! We still need to get her A1C down and hopefully over this next year we will get her highs and lows more in range. But as we've learned, as she grows, things will get all out of whack. So just appreciating we live during a time that she can use a pump and life can be more normal. She can go to birthday parties and playdates without me there to give her shots~ that alone is worth a lot.
